WELCOME TO DENVER!
We officially have seven days to go! From January 28-31 the SIA Snow Show will take over downtown Denver and deliver the hottest snow sports trends, product innovations, seminars, parties, concerts and gatherings. With a sold out Show, over 125 new exhibitors, 3,120 booths and over 800 brands – the 2010 SIA Snow Show is THE Show for the snow sports industry. On February 1-2, we head up to the mountains for the first international On-Snow Demo/Free Ride Fest at Winter Park Resort and Devil’s Thumb Ranch. ARRIVAL

- Check out everything Denver has to offer along with the 300 restaurants and bars in Denver, within walking distance of Downtown Denver hotels and the Colorado Convention Center. Read reviews, make reservations, get pricing information, etc.
- SIA has negotiated discounted ticket rates to Denver Nuggets and Colorado Avalanche games.

- Ice Hockey Shootout Benefit for SOS Outreach: Wednesday, January 27 at the Foothills Ice Arena - Never Summer, 686, PBR, Neff Headwear, Skull Candy and Red Bull are all getting together to hit the ice to raise money for SOS Outreach. Players, email gags@neversummer.com to get on the roster. First come first serve. Spectators, get ready to watch a rumble and have some PBR's for a great cause.

- Industry Happy Hour Every Day at 6P with Music and Entertainment on the First Floor Atrium.
- TransWorld Riders Poll Awards: On Friday, January 29 at 7P, come out for the 11th Annual Riders Poll Awards at the Fillmore Auditorium in downtown Denver. Join the best riders for snowboarding’s most prestigious award show and party with TransWorld SNOWboarding.
- Living Legends “Welcome to Colorado Party” Concert: Optic Nerve, Icelantic, Never Summer, Hestra, Fly Low Gear and SIA to host a concert with hip-hop group, Living Legends at the Ogden Theater on Friday, January 29. The Living Legends show will feature special guests The UmConscious. The doors open at 8P and general admission tickets are available through ticketmaster.com for $22 each.
- Shmooza Palooza: SIA has teamed up with Malakye for the first and only job fair and networking event for the snow sports industry. The job fair will be held at the CCC Saturday, January 30 from 10A-4P. Click here for more information.
- The World’s Largest Après Ski + Ride Party”: In addition to the 100s of events that SIA and members are hosting during the Show, the city of Denver is rolling out the red carpet for the snow sports industry. To welcome the Show to Denver, the Mile High City is staging a new event billed as “The World’s Largest Après Ski + Ride Party.” The event is presented by The Denver Post. Held concurrently with the SIA Snow Show, the Après Ski + Ride Party is open to both Snow Show attendees and Denver locals, and includes events at more than sixty Denver bars, nightclubs, restaurants, theaters and sporting venues. From January 28-30, 2010, Denver residents and visitors can celebrate the winter season and the city’s position as a snow sports Mecca. SNOW, SNOW, SNOW…
On-Snow Demo/Free Ride Fest
On the heels of the SIA Snow Show in Denver, Colorado (Jan 28-31), Show attendees will head up to the mountains of Winter Park Resort and Devil’s Thumb Ranch for the first international On-Snow Demo/Free Ride Fest on February 1-2, 2010. Over 150 brands will be involved in this, two-day demo/free ride fest event (alpine/snowboard & cross country/snowshoe) filled with parties, races, demos and catching up with industry friends. Retailers will try out the gear they’ve just seen at the Snow Show and all others will ski, ride and slide for free. Free Skiing/Riding
In partnership with Colorado Ski Country USA (CSCUSA), all Snow Show retailer attendees receive three free lift ticket vouchers and all other Show attendees receive three 2 for 1 lift ticket vouchers to use three days before and/or three days after the Snow Show (eligible dates Jan 25-27/Feb 1-3). Epic Season Pass for $199
Even though Epic Season Pass sales are closed to the general public, SIA’s partnership with Vail Resorts offers Show attendees more than 60% off the original price. Ski/ride as much as you want throughout the 09/10 season at six amazing resorts starting February 1. Passes can only be purchased in person/onsite at the Vail booth. $10 of your purchase will go toward Winter Feels Good - providing outreach tools that introduce youth to snow sports. Learn more here.
