Outpost Sunsport started in Fort Collins, Colorado in 1972 as a small backpacking and mountaineering shop. We started selling Alpine skis in 1981 and added snowboards in the mid 1980’s. The store was founded by JV and Sue Peacock, who still own Outpost Sports in South Bend, Indiana and was purchased by Randy and Nancy Morgan in the later 1970’s. Randy and Nancy Morgan are still the owners of the company. The store has gone through many changes over the years but Winter sports are still the strength with a strong summer season of outdoor furniture. We currently have one store in Fort Collins of a little more than 12,000 sq.ft.
