Approximately 20 years ago I decided to take on a role as a snowboard sales rep.  I had pulled many years prior at a snowboard shop in Portsmouth NH called Slackers and working as a sub rep for Wayne Dills at the same time.  Then came the time to go it alone and I picked up Santa Cruz snowboards as my first line.  Quickly thereafter picking up and shifting around brands such as Mission Six, Nikita clothing, Fallen Footwear, Neff Headwear, Sole Technology, Forum Snow, Special Blend, and Foursquare Outerwear to name a few.  This has led to where we are now currently in 2014 representing Burton Snowboards, Anon Goggles and Helmets, Analog Outerwear, Skullcandy, MIZU, Hitcase and Xsories. 

It is hard to plan on anything within this industry, so I learned to plan on the unexpected.  I have had the opportunity and honor to work with great companies and retailers throughout the years.  All of which contributed to my experience within this industry and taught me something new to better the future of my business.  These companies and retailers have all taught me to continually keep challenging myself and never settle for the status quo.  In return, we dedicate our commitment to these companies who have given us the opportunity to represent their sales in New England as well as promising top shelf service and support for each and every one of our retailers.

I am honored to have received this award.   It’s an amazing industry filled with amazing people and memorable times.  I have met so many friends and colleagues that have shaped my perception of life.  I wouldn’t trade it for the world and consider myself lucky to be a part of such a great industry.  It is truly rewarding to give back to the industry that has given me so much over the years.  It’s not what we do, but why we do it everyday that keeps us motivated, passionate and professional.

It must be noted that White Flag’s success is not a lone effort.  I could not do it alone nor choose to do so.  Huge thanks goes out to my White Flag Sales team: Cassandra Madsen, Chris Clark, Ryan Manning, Erin Blaisdell, and Joey Siciliano.  This crew has believed in my goals and expectations, season after season, and I thank them for that.  They have done an amazing job and I am looking forward to many more years ahead with the crew.

Working the New England scene many years now, I consider it a small family.  My retailers and our affiliated companies are extended families to the White Flag Sales team. If there is something that my Dad taught me, it was to never let family down.   With the biggest family of all in mind…snowboarding, and how we here at White Flag Sales will never let snowboarding down, not on our watch.
