2011 US Rep of the Year

Northern CA

I grew up skiing, racing and working in the rental shop at Bousquet Ski Area in Pittsfield, MA. I learned how to ski well, and that the ski area is the most fun place to be.

I went to Hartwick College in Oneonta, NY. During winter term my junior year I worked at Teton Gravity Research in Teton Village, WY. I learned how to ski POW. It was awesome!

I began dating my wife Kristen when I returned from Wyoming. She liked to ski too so we decided we would move out west after we graduated college. I locked her down in 2008.

We moved to North Lake Tahoe in 2002 and I worked as a ski tech at Squaw Valley Sport Shop and Granite Chief Ski Shop. Skiing Squaw got me fired up!

I started working for Marker/Tecnica/Volkl as a tech rep in 2007. I have remained the Marker/Volkl tech rep since 2008. Travelling around California and visiting ski shops and ski areas is an unbelievably cool career!

I live in Truckee, CA with Kristen and our 1-year-old daughter, Quinn. Life is great!
