Tim Parker

I grew up in a small town in central Minnesota. I attended college at the University of Minnesota Crookston where I first discovered snowboarding. From that time on I was focused on working in the winter sports industry.

After UMC, I moved to Minneapolis and started a part-time job at Hoigaard’s selling winter sports equipment. That opportunity turned into a full-time sales position in the ski/snowboard department where I also worked custom fitting ski boots. In the off season I sold bicycles and cycling equipment. Finally, I became the snowboard buyer for Hoigaard’s.

In 1994, I began working for Rossignol as an independent snowboard representative responsible for the Great Lakes Territory. In 2005, I formed an agency representing the Rossignol’s Alpine, Nordic, Snowboard, and Apparel collections.

Working in the winter sport industry has given me the opportunity of meeting and working with many great people - retailers, suppliers, and athletes. I am truly grateful for your friendship, counsel, and business. I would like to thank the retailers and suppliers for all their support. I’m very grateful and honored to receive this award!

*Tim also won 2009 and 2010 SIA U.S. SnowSports Regional Rep of the Year award for his territory.
