I got my start in the skiing industry at a very young age; hanging around my aunt and uncle’s ski shop and at a local resort, now called “Bear Creek” in Pennsylvania. As my interest evolved I got introduced to, competed in and even coached freestyle skiing for a number of years. I also served on the USSA Eastern Freestyle Completion Committee as the athlete representative during the time that I competed.

After spending far too many years in the automotive industry and assisting several reps in the Mid-Atlantic region as part time help, I realized that the snow sports industry is where I belonged. With the support of my wife, Sherri and my two children Matthew and Shaina, I was hired by Ovo Helmets in 2002 as the sales rep for the Mid-Atlantic region. During my tenure at Ovo I was hired to work with the Dynamic division of Atomic and my association with the Amer Company was formed. I now represent the Atomic brand as well as Hestra Gloves, Sun Valley Ski tools, and Lorpen socks. I really feel blessed to have the opportunity to work in the snow sports industry and with the brands I represent.

The relationships that I have developed throughout the sport are important to me and I believe are biggest part of my success. It’s the people that make this sport what it is! Skiing or riding may be performed by an individual but it’s the social part of the sport we all share. That must be why we don’t mind the “single line” at the lift. It’s a lot more fun to ride the lift with others and share your experience.

Winning this award is such an honor for me. There are no words that can express my gratitude!
