This year, SIA will present a trade show entitled Sourcing Snow, showcasing the industry’s textile and material suppliers. In-conjunction with the 2013 SIA Snow Show, Sourcing Snow will be held in the Colorado Convention Center’s Mile High Ballroom from January 30 - February 1, 2013. Sourcing Snow includes exhibitors from performance textiles, insulation, zippers/closure systems, straps/webbing and other components, providing the ideal environment to interact with the entire snow sports industry. Exhibitor owned and operated, Sourcing Snow will present snow sports’ top component manufacturers.

SIA’s On-Snow Demo/Ski-Ride Fest returns again, February 4 & 5, at Winter Park Resort in-conjunction with the Western Winter Sports Reps Association’s (WWSRA) Rocky Mountain Demo.
The Nordic Demo will be held February 4* at Devil’s Thumb Ranch in partnership with Cross Country Ski Areas Association (CCSAA). *New this year, the Nordic Demo is one day, Monday, February 4.

SIA has opened hotel blocks for the 2013 Snow Show and On-Snow Demo/Ski-Ride Fest with rates down more than 20% from the 2010 Show.

New for 2013, the SIA Snow Fashion & Trends Show will be held Wednesday, January 30- the night before the Show opens. While a live DJ sets the mood, eye catching multi-media video projections will act as a dramatic backdrop as professionally-styled models work the catwalk in next season’s snow fashions, gear and accessories. During the show, our partners at Stylesight will provide a glimpse of the upcoming trends and color stories for the upcoming season.

SIA SNOW SHOW DAILY INTRODUCES NEW STAFF AND EXPANDED MEDIA PORTFOLIO
SIA, in conjunction with publishing partner Active Interest Media (AIM), is pleased to announce the appointment of Andy Hawk as Publisher and Cindy Hirschfeld as Managing Editor of the SIA Snow Show Daily. In addition, the Snow Show Daily portfolio, currently comprised of a preview issue and four daily editions, will expand this winter to include an On-Snow Demo Guide and a Season Ending Wrap-up. THE GUIDE RETURNS FOR 2013 SNOW SHOW
For the second year, SIA is partnering with TransWorld Business to produce The Guide. Keeping core snowboard retailers’ needs top of mind, The Guide outlines Show information, new trends, up-to-date research and feature articles to help attendees get the most out of their time at the SIA Snow Show and On-Snow Demo/Ski-Ride Fest.
The Guide, along with the January issue of TransWorld Business, will be mailed to 6,000 shops the first week of January. It will also be distributed both in print and digitally and available through TransWorld’s proprietary iPad magazine platform and available on-site at the Show as well.
