Description: At BlackStrap we are a 100% product driven company. We develop products based on the requests and feedback from our 200+ retailers worldwide and the consumers that support these vendors. Our kids line is no different. We introduced the line with a soft start in 14/15 with a selection of 20 US vendors including resorts, small mom and pop and large B&M/Online stores. The feedback on each aspect from the fit, comfort, performance & merchandising came back positive and we are happy to present the line as the newest collection of specialty products from BlackStrap for the 2015/16 season.

    Blackstrap is known for technical, functional & product driven methods in developing facegear. For 2015/16 Blackstrap has taken all the aspects from their 100% USA made Facegear line and sized it to fit the smallest of skiers and snowboarders. Now the kids can stay warm, comfortable and protected with their favorite colorway from BlackStrap without sacrificing any functional aspects.

    The simple story about the new kids line is the same as many of the products released from BlackStrap: Demand from consumers & retail partners for a kids sized option. Following the demand we looked to build something new and unique in the kids accessories category. A majority of heat is lost through your head, a majority of consumers are spending money on protective gear for their children, most notably helmets, with these things in mind BlackStrap is now providing the highest standards in helmet compatibility, quality manufacturing, technological performance and innovation in the Facegear market to the youth. With a patented fabric composition and product design, Blackstrap Facegear will help thermoregulate your body, regardless of your age, insulating in cold and allowing for heat dissipation in milder conditions.

    - BlackStrap manufactures true products of the United States, along with cut and sew services, BlackStrap also mills and prints all of their patented tri blend fabric domestically and sources all packaging in the Pacific Northwest. - BlackStrap is made up of a group of individuals that share a common respect for the mountains & the ski/snb industry as a whole. We have all worked in various capacities in the industry over the years including as shop employees, and appreciate the relationships that are built between brands and every employee at any given retail outlet. - Our motivation is to continue to Set the Standards in quality product manufacturing, technological advancements and service to the retailers, employees & consumers that support our mission.
