Description: The lightweight and highly ventilated Auric helmet

the ears and temples and is compatible for use with
 a beanie and goggles underneath.
Get To Know The Brand:
  1. How will this product contribute to or change the snow sports industry? Read More
Two ways: First, the bold, freeskiing-inspired aesthetic is unlike any helmet on the show floor. The Auric's deep ear covers reach back to the skate culture of the 1970s, with a modern update from POC's award-winning design team. Second, the Auric features a unique multi-impact EPP liner that is thicker in exposed areas. The park-and-pipe consumer is most at risk for head injury, yet many of these athletes continue to use single-impact helmets after a significant crash. The Auric provides multi-impact protection for these athletes.
  2. What's the story behind the new product? How did it evolve? Read More
Having worked for many years with athletes like Jon Olsson and Tanner Hall, the POC design team identified the freeskiing segment as one that needed multi-impact protection in a helmet styled for the park-and-pipe crowd. The design team looked back to classic skate styling, and added POC updates like thicker EPP in the back of the head, a removable goggle clip, and removable earpads. Working with Olympian Aaron Blunck, designers made small changes to the helmet's design, and locked in on signature series colorways and graphics.
  3. What are 3 personality traits you attribute to your brand? Read More
    Tastemaker, Protective, Passionate

Park & pipe riders need helmets w/ multi-impact protection. POC is mission-driven to save lives and Auric is unlike anything on the hill.

“The Show was awesome! Tons of traffic and excitement, which we were really excited about. We’ll be back every year moving forward. We’ve gotten new business from being here, and as a launch year, it’s been absolutely great.”
Tracy Bordwell, Creative and Technical Design, Fate Clothing

"As a snow-sports journalist, I find the SIA Snow Show to be an invaluable resource. There's nowhere else I can survey all of the latest gear and get face time with interesting suppliers, retailers, athletes, and other industry movers all in one place."
Sam Bass, editor-in-chief, Skiing Magazine

“You have everyone in one place, so you can see everything you need and get an idea of where trends are going. It’s a good overview of what’s going on in the industry. Last year we picked up a couple new lines that I wouldn’t have necessarily picked up had I not gone to SIA. The Show gets you psyched.”
Jim Slanetz, Owner, Board Bin, ID

“From our standpoint, our line has gotten larger each year, and the exposure at the Show is huge. There are so many people here and this Show seems to grow every year, it’s really beneficial for our sales reps to be here.”
Carrie Crogan, Trade Show Coordinator, Under Armour
