Market Segment Exhibits

In 2010 an evolved showcase was launched featuring the latest trends, products and technologies in snow; INNOVATIONS, NOW. Offering attendees an exclusive preview of what’s hot before heading into the Show hall, INNOVATIONS, NOW highlighted industry products to media and press for their future editorial. Located on the first floor of the Colorado Convention Center, consumers got a sneak peek teaser of what they’ll be seeing in their local specialty shops in the fall.

Backshop Garage/Rental World, presented by SAM Magazine, was located inside the Show hall. This exhibit focused on the technologies and new products for backshop tuning, tools and gear/accessories for the rental market. Seminars and clinics were hosted inside Backshop Garage/Rental World.

Backshop Garage | Rental World is a combined exhibit focusing on the specialty backshop and rental shop. Creating a venue exclusive to backshop and rental helps educate buyers on the "how to" of a backshop/rental shop, while offering seminars and clinics to help educate retailers on how to make their customers’ shop experience a great one.

INNOVATIONS, NOW

Each year, the SIA Show hosts a series of special exhibits highlighting products, trends and technologies for different segments of the snow sports market. New in 2010 was one large exhibit, INNOVATIONS, NOW, that presented the latest in everything snow; alpine ski, snowboard, AT, telemark, backcountry, cross country, snowshoe, kids, fashion, and accessories.
