The Exhibitor & Brand Directory Search

Be at the Snow Show and you will. The latest Freeride/Backcountry gear and accessories from the industry’s most visionary brands and more are all in one place, all for you.

As backcountry continues to grow, we, as an industry, need to become product and safety awareness experts for our customers. When they venture beyond bounds, the game changes and it’s our responsibility to make sure they are set up with the right gear and right knowledge. With this segment, there is a lot of specialized equipment and having an expert explain and demo it can go a long way.

The Backcountry Experience was the industry launch of the Backcountry Starts Here campaign where retailers, reps and the media can learned more from the American Institute for Avalanche Research and Education (AIARE) professionals, athletes and guides including Chris Davenport, Lynsey Dyer and Jeremy Jones. Each day, Backcountry Experience hosted retail clinics, panel discussions, happy hours with the pros, in addition to supporting content structured around the basics of the Backcountry Starts Here campaign. Whether you are a longtime backcountry enthusiast or are starting this season, we enjoyed having you at the Backcountry Experience!

Knowledge and product go hand in hand in the backcountry. The BC Experience is designed to help you position your shop as the go-to spot for backcountry.

Backcountry is a core and growing part of the snow sports industry. SIA looks to members to help guide and shape this category for the shop, rep and consumer.

“The Show was awesome! Tons of traffic and excitement, which we were really excited about. We’ll be back every year moving forward. We’ve gotten new business from being here, and as a launch year, it’s been absolutely great.”
Tracy Bordwell, Creative and Technical Design, Fate Clothing

"As a snow-sports journalist, I find the SIA Snow Show to be an invaluable resource. There's nowhere else I can survey all of the latest gear and get face time with interesting suppliers, retailers, athletes, and other industry movers all in one place."
    Sam Bass, editor-in-chief, Skiing Magazine

“You have everyone in one place, so you can see everything you need and get an idea of where trends are going. It’s a good overview of what’s going on in the industry. Last year we picked up a couple new lines that I wouldn’t have necessarily picked up had I not gone to SIA. The Show gets you psyched.”
Jim Slanetz, Owner, Board Bin, ID

“From our standpoint, our line has gotten larger each year, and the exposure at the Show is huge. There are so many people here and this Show seems to grow every year, it’s really beneficial for our sales reps to be here.”
Carrie Crogan, Trade Show Coordinator, Under Armour
